Self Assessment is a technique that is used to look at ourselves and to find out different aspects of our actions that make a difference in our everyday lives. After completing 9 different aspects I was able to see different parts of my personality and how they affect the way I work and what changes can be made to make me a better person in the workplace. Overall many of the results that I received I was aware of, but with what I have learned in the course I can use these skills to improve my professional self.
The first assessment that I completed was the The IPIP-NEO (International Personality Item Pool Representation of the NEW PI-R). This assessment showed me my breakdown of scores for five broad personality domains; agreeableness, conscientiousness, extraversion, neuroticism, and openness. For extraversion my

Agreeableness is the next trait which exhibits how we as people cooperate and get along with others. I scored a total of 64 on this trait which puts me in the moderate range. Having a good level of agreeableness helps me keep relationships together but also helps me in solving conflicts without having someone to compromise something they want completely, and always coming to a compromise where it is fair. I am friendly and helpful and I want people to be able to see me as someone that they can come to. The 4th trait is Neuroticism which is a condition that is marked my mental distress and emotional suffering which leads to a difficulty in coping with the normal demands of life. There are different degrees of neuroticism. My score was a 39 which is in the moderate range. Neurotic people are very emotional and have emotional reactions to many circumstances. The problems that arise with neuroticism are that it makes it hard to think clearly. I personally think that I do use my emotions in my professional life and that is something that I need to work
