When I was sixteen years old I was pushed to drop out of high school by my addict parents to raise my younger sister. That day I vowed to return to school with a vengeance and earn my bachelors degree in psychology. When I first started attending Rio Salado I had a crippling fear that I would fail and ultimately need to drop out once again. However, when I received the email about the Rio Salado Honors Program I knew that I was destined for greater achievements. Rio Salado has greatly improved my scholarly self-esteem and has given me the knowledge to succeed.
