I would advise myself to plan out my work and actually do assignments ahead of time instead of putting them off until nine o'clock the night before they were due. I would tell myself to not take honors trig because it was too much to handle combined with all of my other classes, as well as saying, that just because it was recommended to take a class, it doesn't mean I should've. Some people say that the four short years of high school are the best years of their life. For me, that wasn’t the case. I want to attend college because I have such a deep love for learning, even though, sometimes school makes me stressed out. Back when I lived in Sierra Leone, I would sneak into schools so I could learn and know how it felt to be part of a learning environment. Ever since that experience, my passion for learning grew even more. Coming to this country, I saw many children complaining about how much they hated school and how they found their subjects to be boring and I was completely dumbfounded! They didn't see how lucky they are that they get the freedom and opportunity and government that cares about their education.…

Entering college can be tough; you have to learn how to live by yourself, you have to budget your time, and you have to make all new friends. For me all of that was true, but the part that gave me the most was making friends.
