Personal Narrative: Professional Football In Israel

January 2014 I was already filling out the papers to join an English course in Houston Texas when I receive a proposal to play professional football in Israel, as it was my dream I did not think twice, my family was afraid the first question of my Father was worth it plays in the middle of the war and if I was not afraid to die, my fiancée supported me because she knew it was my dream and my mother knew she would not be able to stop me. I left all fears behind and I was confident everything would work out. The first obstacle encountered was the language, I could not speak English as much as Hebrew but for all who want to visit Israel, English is the second language of Israel, at least 90% of the people will be able to speak the basics in English, in my team only two players They could not converse in English but the rest of the team helped me a lot in the adaptation, what surprised me was a bus driver to be able to speak English in fact he was already a master and he explained to me very well my destiny different from brazil where a short time Had the world cup and it …show more content…
An extremely important factor in Israel is its security. "What do you mean?" You must be wondering. Know that this is a very safe country to live in and where the rate of urban violence is close to zero. For those who came from Brazil like me, this seems like a dream, but it 's a reality. Of course I can not ignore the fact that there are conflicts between Arabs and Jews, such as the Palestine vs. Israel issue, which generates tension here, but in a way the population is prepared and has a full notion of danger. In general, all the houses have a bomb-proof protection room, as well as sheltered shelters scattered across cities on the border with the Gaza Strip.
