I have learned to adapt to change on the fly and not let big changes in my environment throw me off completely based off of the non-traditional parenting that I received. I also know how to deal with difficult situations from growing up in this environment. Learning to roll with these punches will help me so much in my life, not only in college but also in my professional and personal problems. I know how to work hard for what I want and I know the right tools to overcome any challenge that I might face. I know how to help others without letting them crutch on me, and I’d like to say that I know how to be an encouraging person based on caring for my mother.…

National Honor Society Application Essay For any human to exhibit qualities throughout their lifestyle, one must transcend in certain aspects of their nature. Everyone is born with a different character or personality and not everyone exceeds in all of the same categories, however; I would place myself among the four characteristics of scholarship, leadership, service, and outstanding character as some of the qualities where I excel. I was also raised to believe that my best is an A, so when I got my first B it was not something taken lightly. I try to remember that if you put your mind to something, then you can accomplish it, which reminds me of the quote by Mike Farrell, “If you try to do your best there is no failure.”…
