When I was smaller, I used to play either with my father, mother, or my uncle. They all have been great tennis players, and I think that is one of the reasons that pushed me forward in becoming a professional tennis player. I knew from the beginning that trying to build your career to the highest level is extremely difficult. I will never be able to describe how it felt to lift a grand slam trophy and the unconditional joy my family and I have shared the upcoming days. Of course, I could not stop now, so after a few days I had to go back to work and improve my game even more. Following the US Open, I had just a small ammount of points for the professional tournaments, therefore, my focus now was on getting more points for the women’s rankings. I have won several professional tournaments in 2015 and I continued doing that in 2016.

My ranking now is on the 270th place in the world and the game is getting tougher on each tournament. But after all, that is the reason why I commenced to play tennis in the first place. By playing higher tournaments, I have the chance to see and play against the best in the world, which brings me tremendous amount of experiences that will help me for the future. I believe that tennis is the most beautiful and competitive sport in the world, and I will do everything to become one of the most highly-rated athletes that played the

My most significant leadership experience would be when I was in the Girls Varsity Tennis Team. I had been in the tennis team during my highschool years, for 2 years. During that time I learned a lot about being a leader, such as what it means to lead others, and what qualities a leader should have. When I first started playing tennis I started at the position on 2nd doubles, to me I took it as that I was not good enough to play against an opponent by myself on the court. Which was entirely true, because when I began playing I was not any good whatsoever.…

During my younger years my dad, who played tennis when he was younger, coached me and taught me how to hit my basic ground strokes such as backhands and forehands. What I loved the most was that even as a freshman, I was able to make friends older than me who served as my mentors for both school and my tennis…

Tires crunched on the loose gravel parking lot as I was dropped off at my high school’s tennis courts on the first day of school. With my high school requiring a year of physical education, I opted to take the lifetime sport for I was nervous to compete for a spot on the highly competitive teams my school was known for.
