Through the urging of my grandmother as an adolescent, I attended her home church, St. Paul Baptist Church, formerly located in the Garfield section of Pittsburgh. During this time, I confess the Christian faith (Romans 10:9). Shortly afterwards, I was baptized into the Christian faith in home church. In 2002, I came into the 12-step recovery program of Narcotics Anonymous (NA). God placed a spiritual mentor in my life, whom is a deacon at his home church. He taught me about applying God’s word in my life. Then I began to speak at NA meetings.
