Personal Statement Of Purpose For Pursuing A College Degree

In this essay I will be discussing why I have chosen to seek a college degree, what two different websites that pronounce on what my learning style is, and whether or not I agree with the results. There are many people that have different reasons for attending college. Some people have similar; if not exact same reasons for attending. My reasons for attending college are pretty simple. To better my life for present and future experiences, and to enhance my knowledge and skills, which will prepare me for jobs in the civilian sector.
There are numerous reasons why I have chosen to seek a college degree especially with American Military University. One of those reasons is that I will have a lifetime of increment opportunities. These opportunities include job placement based on my area of study, fulfilling the qualifications and requirements of jobs in my area of study, and perhaps pursue a masters degree in my field of study to have a better chance of seeking a job with advanced qualifications, ready to gain the experience within that particular job. With having the flexibility of jobs at my disposal, that means I have the opportunity to make more money, having figures ranging from several thousands to several hundred thousands, than previous jobs. They are Visual, Auditory, and Tactile or Kinesthetic learners. Everyone learn things differently from each other. It’s indubitable beneficial to determine your learning type. Being able to learn and absorb information the first time you hear it and reducing the amount of time with ease when learning is one beneficial reason to determine your learning type. I’ve taken only two of the listed learning style inventory sites. According to Bixler (2010), based off my input, I am a visual learner.
