I have always had an interest in ICT when I first got my first gaming console as a present for Christmas. This allowed me to gain basic knowledge on how to use different types of hardware by playing games on the web. I started to build my desktop with the savings which I have earned to pay for the separate components and the case to build a suitable desktop computer to play online games with my friends. I have chosen the Media Studies course because it allows me to present different types of media platforms to a range of audience whether it might be differentiated by demographic or psychometric to see who my target audiences are and focus on their needs. I have also chosen Business studies as a course because it shows me how technology has changed businesses. It has created new opportunities to make a business successful by using technology such as specialised machinery to increase production so that they generate more sales. The use of the internet which is accessible 24/7 so that a business can advertise their products and services all around the world by using social media so that billions of users online will be able to see the business which is personally one of the best methods for marketing. In my ICT course, I have created an automatic invoice system which lists the customer’s billing details so it will be sent through an email or by post. This system uses VLOOKUP and Macros to automatically calculate the costs of the product and service and can print the invoice. This system could be included in a website so that customers online will be able to do a B2C transaction and can send the customers billing details through
