Personal Statement: New Opportunities In High School

Decent Essays
High school offers so many new opportunities. Leaving the middle school and advancing to the high school can be traumatic for some students. I am looking forward to many things in my future at high school. Such things and opportunities include having more freedoms, sports, and having the chance to meet newer people. One of the things that most students are excited about is having more freedoms. Most things at the middle are limited or prohibited. Although high school is an exciting new experience, most people will miss the middle school. There are so many more advantages that the high school will have than the middle school. I am looking forward to the new privileges that the high school offers. These opportunities include having more freedoms, sports, and meeting new

One thing that remained the same was the fact that I was always reserved and I stayed to myself. I thought that in high school I was going to be able to leave my shell and be more outgoing. I was wrong, I am still shy and still quiet, but high school did teach me valuable concepts that I will carry on through college.…
