My S.M.A.R.T goal
Both of my parents work in the medical field as LVNs. I have, throughout my childhood, been told about the different aspects of their jobs such as what they do everyday and what their coworkers have to do. For a while now, the thought of helping other people every day appeals to me. For this reason I would enjoy becoming a registered nurse within 10 years.
The career of a register nurse is not limited to working simply in a clinic, some work in hospice (working with terminal patients) or as a delivery room nurse (working with the delivery of babies). I particulary think I would enjoy working as a hospice nurse because I believe that you can learn so much from the elderly. I enjoy working with elderly and learning from them.
