"Think before you speak while in the workplace". I just started working at my current job at the start of the year and since day when this was my goal. So far I am very pleased with myself. I have kept to myself more and while being engaged in conversation have been doing a great job at knowing when to stop talking. Goals are important to being the best self you can be. The past six months I have strived to set simple weekly academic goals along with more long-term SMART goals for my personnel and professional self. The overall improvement in my success have been far greater than I ever thought possible. I doing well in the areas that have needed improvement in my life. I am not here to extend my high school years by 4 but rather to get my degree to better myself in the future. However, I do not actually enjoy classes for the most part, but rather, I find more enjoyment at the fulfillment and getting my degree and the self pride that goes along with completing my degree. This will be my last semester on campus and the thought of graduating from what I believe to be the best university is a thought that almost brings tears to my eyes when I think about it.
