Being able to determine when a member of my group is dealing with emotional issues and knowing how to be there for them will do wonders for group dynamics. If the people I am leading are not only confident in my technical abilities, but also in my ability to comfort others and settle conflicts, then they will feel more stress-free knowing that I can handle any situation that is thrown my way. Another area that I would like to improve on is my tendency to be over-competitive. While competition, even within discussion of theories, energizes me, it may make members of my group uneasy. One of my main goals is to make sure that everyone in my group is relaxed, and if they have to constantly worry that everything they say is up for debate, they will be less likely to vocalize their opinions in fear of having to argue about
