Personal Statement: I Have A Dream

Martin Luther King Jr. once said, "I have a dream." He had a dream to end racism against African Americans, and with hard work, dedication, perseverance, and being optimistic, he furthered the community of America to an almost point break of racism. After his reign, racism was still present, but he lowered the standards of it by so much it was almost obsolete. Before he died he wanted people to remember him as a civil rights leader, and for him to never be forgotten. Many people have dreams, and many people accomplish them, while others don't. Me as a teenager, still growing up, still gaining knowledge every corner I turn, I do believe I have a dream, a dream that will stay with me for the rest of my life. If County Prep accepts me I believe that this school will truly open up my eyes to technology, and complete my vision. County Prep is such a sufficient school of tomorrow, and if I go to it, it will give me all the right tools for adulthood and elaborate on my interests in life. I am very interested in computers, and all around technology. As well as, audiovisual production, video making, and my love of photography. Photography really opens up to me. I can absorb the world around me, and choreograph a scene to tell a story, in just one image. I have so much interest in taking pictures, and it's just an amazing hobby of mine, where if I go to County Prep, it could potentially make it into more than that. I can see it when the world and my camera lines perfectly, to get the best picture ever. My passion for it is beyond belief and I really want to improve upon it.
