I am an undocumented student— there are many opportunities that I can’t obtain because of my residential status. My parents brought me to this country for better education and a better quality of life and I thank them everyday. I greatly admire my parents because they are such hard workers; my father came to the US when he was 18 for work and until today he still works 7 days a week for 12 hours a day. I value all these sacrifices my parents have done for my siblings and me. After I get out of school and during summer I help my dad with his work and sometimes they’re unpleasant jobs. When I was 12, I went with my father to help him trim apple trees during a snowstorm, the property owner told me to take a seat inside his warm house to watch
