I chose to plan the project from scratch, rather than pick a pre-planned project, after I identified a lack of a standardised clinical test for DNA fragmentation in sperm - a contributory factor to infertility. I managed all aspects of this project, including gaining ethical approval, the experimental work and the budget. I gained further project management experience whilst working in educational publishing at CGP when I was put in charge of one of the GCSE revision guides. The high quality of my content was frequently commended in appraisals. In addition to producing written content at CGP, I was responsible for designing the layout and aesthetics of the page and producing original graphics or selecting appropriate photographs to complement to written content.
