I am a consistent high achiever. Throughout my life, I have always demonstrated success in education and self-improvement. I achieved 11 grade A* - A GCSEs, AAAAB in my A levels and a 2:1 in a challenging and varied masters level science degree. My life experiences and qualifications have been very beneficial to my development. I am able critically assess information and logically determine the best way to approach each challenge I meet.

I believe that my background in educational publishing and my time as a trainee teacher make me ideal for this role. I chose to plan the project from scratch, rather than pick a pre-planned project, after I identified a lack of a standardised clinical test for DNA fragmentation in sperm - a contributory factor to infertility. I managed all aspects of this project, including gaining ethical approval, the experimental work and the budget. I gained further project management experience whilst working in educational publishing at CGP when I was put in charge of one of the GCSE revision guides. The high quality of my content was frequently commended in appraisals. In addition to producing written content at CGP, I was responsible for designing the layout and aesthetics of the page and producing original graphics or selecting appropriate photographs to complement to written content. I have a keen creative eye and always took great care to produce or select the best graphical content.
