There are many points in my life, when I recall being very proud of myself for achieving goals and accomplishments. One particular point in my life would be when I got my first job. Getting my first job was very big and important to me. The reason the job was so important to me was because it gave me a sense independence, considering I was one of those spoiled rotten kids. It might seem like the perfect life for some to always get what you want, regardless of being a child or adult, but when you think about it nothing in life is free. Some may not fully understand that there’s always a price to pay. The price I had to pay was enduring very harsh Constructive criticism for everything I did, by my grandmother. I love my granny too dead, but she often hurt my feeling, growing up. She is one of those people that feel as though they can say stuff to you because they do stuff for you. Overtime, I became tired of it and began my quest or independence. I was blessed to gain experience of working a burger king. There factors that made my experience a blessing were being referred, having the job for a year and getting a raise. …show more content…
I had filled out a numerous of applications and did follow ups on all of them. I got turned down so many times. I thought I would never get a job. Luckily, one day, I seen one of my friend at her job and I asked was they hiring. My friend told me what to do, and that she would talk to the manger. The next day, I filled out the application. The following day, I called and asked to speak to speak to the manager about the status of my application. She told me to come, the following Monday, for an interview. The day of the interview, I was hired instantly. I couldn’t wait to start working. I was so thankful to have that
