I’m a farm boy stuck in the city, Kansas City, Kansas to be more specific. I was born here, but I was raised on my father’s ranch in Tuxcueca, Jalisco, Mexico. I always wondered why I felt out of place here in the United States, it’s a big change from the smell of green fields to exhaust fumes. I’m used to delivering calves and planting corn, riding a horse through the fields, rather than being struck in traffic on my phone. This is why I want to be a Large Animal veterinarian. I know where I want to go and how to get there.
