I am intrigued by a plethora of things in the medical field such as the constant continuation of learning required to grow with the field. I want to provide every patient with the quality of care they deserve not the care they could afford. I was not raised in a wealthy family and my love for the medical field developed from the other side of the doctor/ patient exchange, however it is something that is dear to my heart after losing my father a few years ago and a slew of close calls with my mother. I am goal oriented and I succeed at everything I put my mind to. My time in college often went well and however there were times that the stress of my personal life, such as financially supporting my mother the duration of my undergraduate degree and dealing with less than ideal roommates took a toll on my academics.
