I believe this is how my love for science developed. I loved seeing all the equipment and listening to the doctors explain how they worked. I believe that I lean towards oncology and cellular function of the body due to the high rates of cancer that has affected my family. The most notable and impacting family member is my mother since her story is truly unbelievable.

I want to provide every patient with the quality of care they deserve not the care they could afford. I was not raised in a wealthy family and my love for the medical field developed from the other side of the doctor/ patient exchange, however it is something that is dear to my heart after losing my father a few years ago and a slew of close calls with my mother.
