Personal Statement: Dietary Aid

The summer of 2015 I was looking for a job to get some extra money for the summer. My sister gave me a lead on a Dietary Aid position at Evergreen Manor in Saco, ME. I applied figuring it may be a good fit job for me. I heard back around three weeks later, the job was mine if I wanted it. Sure enough I took it!
As the summer came to an end I decided to continue working there after school hours. I worked 1-2 days a week after school to earn extra money throughout the year. In December 2015 Evergreen rewarded me with a training position. This allowing me to train new associates and to continue to work as a Dietary Aid. I was very excited because it shower me hard work can eventually get you further.

    Reviewing the vitamin section of my 5-day dietary report it is apparent that I am failing to reach the DRI for the vitamin Alpha-Tocopherol and vitamin D while surpassing the DRI for vitamin A. To increase my consumption of Alpha-Tcocphaerol (vitamin E) I can consume more avocados, spinach, and egg yolks are also a good source. To increase my vitamin D in take to reach the DRI I can consume more fish such as tuna and salmon. Lastly, my diet was high in vitamin A that can be harmful to my health if it builds up for the remaining part of my life.
