Since i was born i knew i wanted to be in dauntless. I was born to Amity but knew that it wasn 't the right place for me. All of the kids in Amity wanted to stay with their family forever and stick with amity but i was different, i knew i belonged to Dauntless because of how strong and independent i was. I may not have been the bravest of younger children but there was always room to learn. Most of the time my mother and father and mother would catch me climbing trees and jumping off anything that i could find because i knew that i could take that onto when i finally become a dauntless member.

I had to do a few tests and after all my tests everyone was very different towards me like i was an outsider. I asked someone if something is wrong and they said “Divergents shouldn 't be mixing with Dauntless.” I looked at her confused as she turned her back and left me there just standing by myself. I panicked and ran and ran till finally found an empty building looking for people to help me back to Dauntless. I saw a little fire in the distance in a dark corner under a roof that looked like it was going to fall any minute. I carefully walked over to the fire whule keeping an eye on the ceiling. I heard a voice say “don 't worry its not going to fall’. I jumped and was scared until i saw an old fragile man walk from behind a post”. I asked this man what his name was and all he could say to me was “it doesnt matter anymore, im nothing” I looked at him in confusion and asked him what faction he belonged to and he pulled me in close and whispered into my ear “The divergents don 't have a faction.” I pulled away and said “What is wrong with being diverent?, what is a divergent?, why doesnt anyone like divergents?” “slow down, slow down. Divergents are unique and no factions like them because they are scared that they will rebel against the government. Divergents cannot be controlled because they can always find away out of any situation because they have traits from every faction.” he

It’s not always easy to appreciate the unconventional, but being different has been a strong source of my self-identity. It’s given me a sense of perspective and balance that shapes my view of the world. As a child of biracial parents, I’ve always accepted that I was multi-faceted. And even though there are ongoing racial divisiveness and a history in this country that is notorious for its brutality, I never felt its culture clash in my home. Every day I experience the beauty and harmony that comes from a seamless marriage of different perspectives, backgrounds and interests.…

As I have matured into the person I currently am, I have grown not only physically, but also intellectually. I have forced myself to become more aware of the society I live in and of its ailments, which are homophobia, racism, and sexism. I have come to realize that those who suffer from the oppression of these prejudices are unable to speak out against these issues and truly be heard. I believe that it is important to listen to these people and their experiences so that I may become an ally because others may be more likely to listen to me. Just as Malala Yousafzai has raised her voice, I have raised my voice for those who are not straight, those who are not white, and for those who are not male.…

An NCIC / FCIC check of the attached tag revealed it to not be assigned to a vehicle. The vehicle had been observed parked in front of the Grand BLV Motel for approximately thirty to forty minutes with a W/F seated in the front passenger seat. The Port Richey Police Department has received information from multiple sources and reveived multiple complaints about the sell / use of illegal narcotics at the Grand BLV Motel. Officer D. My family were looking for something we could do in Downtown Sacramento last September 2nd, this year. I searched on Google about events that will happen that Saturday, and I found out about a 3-day SacAnime event at the Sacramento Convention Center. My sixteen-year-old son loves anime shows, so he was ecstatic when I told him about the event, and so did I, as I’ve never been to an event like that. So off we went to the convention. While we were walking toward the convention, we saw hundreds of people everywhere dressed up in costumes with their favorite characters from different shows, series, movies, cartoons and so on.…

My dad has this motto “Never Give Up” and I've always thought that mottoes are just something people say to make themselves sound cool and smart, until I had my own experience that taught me I should “Never Give Up” on things. I loved baking since I was young, so when I turned ten, my mother bought me a professional oven. I was extremely happy so I decided to bake a cake, which is something I've never tried before. I went to buy the ingredients with my mother at the supermarket.…
