Personal Statement. I, Daniel Francisco Venancio Cruz was born in a little town named Ayoquezco de Aldama, Oaxaca, Mexico. My parents and I immigrated illegally to the United States in search for a better life. My parents immigrated here because they wanted a better future for me and my siblings. They did not want me suffering like they did back in Mexico but, to graduate and pursue a career and be successful. I will be graduating next year, I will be the first in my family to finish high school and go to college. I want to go to college and major in computer science and help advance technology and make it more useful and beneficial.
