Entering into the world in the Healthcare Administration field, it is best that we know and understand what it really means to succeed in our positions. Medical and Health Services managers are also called healthcare executives or healthcare administrators that plan, direct, and coordinate the medical and health services. In our position we must direct changes that conform the changes in healthcare laws, regulations, and technology. (bls.gov.ooh.2016).
I. What Educational requirements include any relevant certifications or credentials?

The two areas that stood out the most for me to work more on is my leadership skills and social skills. I tend to not want to lead when it comes to making decisions or giving direction. I would say that I am more of the one getting direction and staying behind the screen. I do love to help and assist others when they need it and give advice, I just have a fear of actually taking risks, persuading others, leading people and making decisions and having the confidence that the decision I made was a good one that will be beneficial to everyone around or involved. I also have a lot of work to do when it comes to my social skills. I am not a social person and rarely the one to initiate a conversation. I have the personality to know I can make a good Healthcare Administrator and believe that there are always ways that I can approve my skills to be even …show more content…
I plan to stay focused and determined to receive my bachelor’s degree and then further my education to getting my master’s degree. I plan to prepare myself and study to take any and all exams that will help further my career and take me to the next level to be able to work in a hospital.

• Kaplan University can help educate and teach me everything that I will need to know to prepare myself to take exams and get certifications. Kaplan University can prepare me to advance and succeed in my career and give me the training I will need down the line.
