Are Smartphones Making us stupid? Did you know that if you use your phone all the time,it is making you not have as much knowledge ? In this letter I will be arguing that smartphones are making us stupid.
First, Let’s face it you use your phone all the time , you don’t have to think for yourself.. For instance, you're not learning how to do complex math if your calculator is there for you. I use a calculator all the time and in school my teacher has asked me simple questions, and I don't know how to answer them because of a calculutater. This is causing us to not have as much knowledge as you should. The fact that homework is supposed to help you it is not more of like helping the internet or a calculator. MATH will only get hard and the internet will only get smarter so really you aren't being prepared for something like a real life problem. Now my second fact is, even better you’re not learning how to spell if auto correct is there. It is doing the math for you. There is cheating access on there and answers to tests. You will never learn if the internet is there I to give the answer to you. Sure the internet can be in good use like helping you examples but really no one use it for that any more. The internet can tell you anything that you want to know like whether you have to know what your homework is to the ANSWER. Don’t even get me started with the GAMES if you play games it is distracting you from doing stuff like homework, sports, eating this is distracting us from stuff like this.
