I am a very optimistic person. I am extremely confident when I say that my future is bright. My goal is to become a personal stylist and excel in this area. One of my general goals in life is to gain superior knowledge of fashion itself. I want to explore different designers, textiles, also enhance my own style as much as possible. Plainfield, New Jersey has shaped me into the person I am today, and has contributed to my interest in fashion. With that being said, If I receive this scholarship and after receiving my college degree, I would be willing to come back to my community and give back. How would I give back to my community? Well, I have always been a person that enjoys giving. Giving means helping and I love to help people. With that …show more content…
I have been an outstanding and very dedicated Cheerleader and to prove it, I was previously awarded with the Most Valuable Player award during my junior year of high school. For the 2015-2016 varsity cheerleading team I earned the position as a team captain. This position has rewarded me skills that will help towards my progression into a responsible adult. These skills include leadership, decision-making, and problem solving skills. All of these strengths will also prepare me for college and help me get the most out of a great education. Because of this wonderful experience in my life, I want to provide for the future generations that will gain the same skills and education. When I began my career, I will give back to my high school junior varsity and varsity cheerleading squad by donating new cheer uniforms, and accessories to them. I also have thoughts of starting a scholarship program for the varsity cheerleaders at Plainfield High School. Seeing new cheerleaders carry on cheerleading traditions, performing community service, and cheering their hearts out at every football/ basketball game, deserves special opportunities that I am willing to provide for them.

I will love to give back to my community when I become successful because Plainfield is what has made me. Without the help of my hometown, I will not grow into the successful person I plan to be. My school as well as my lifestyle is a huge contribution to my future triumphs. It would behoove me to repay my community in the best ways
