Personal Statement And Reflection In The Introduction To Language Class

Reflection With completing the last assignment term in the Introduction to Language class, I am able to benefit from a variety of new things from the class, as well as refresh my memory on things that I already knew, just needed a reminder about. I enjoyed the clear and basic knowledge introduced in this course about the language .However, there was a huge work load which we did not face even in our major courses. Two exams, an essay, a presentation, and many other assignments, but what the great news was that they were not tough, but still many and needed much time. The objectives were simple and the way to reach them was clear. Also, what helped us was that I understood nearly 80-90% of the material in the class which is evidently due to the great way the teacher used to explain the lessons and the numerous …show more content…
The essay was in our hands, and during the research we watched some videos to help us understand the topic and we collected at that time some pictures and tables to be used later in the presentation. Therefore, it was neither difficult nor it took much time. We had only to organize our ideas and to prepare a theme and a design for the presentation. A colorful and attractive ones. I benefited from the resources posted on Moodle about the hints to have a great presentation, and I tried to apply as much as possible of them. If I had more time I could have prepared more for the presentation, but it was fine I had my sources, and used my own way with some improvements. I explained my ideas using the slides, writing on the bored, and even gestures. I think that we were successful in grabbing the attention of the audience, but if we had more time during the presentation we could have introduced more interesting information.
