Having a unique desire to lead and help people achieve their goals is something I think I have and would be able to use in the NHS Vice President duties. I see the Vice President role as a learning experience that would help me improve on the skills I need to successfully help the group achieve their goals. I think I would be a good candidate for the position because I’m willing to work hard and help out as much as possible in any and all areas needed. I also have great leadership and problem solving skills I believe would contribute to the organization and to the group of chairpeople of NHS. Being the Vice President would help me grow as a person and as a leader, and I hope to be able to be a part of a body of people who share the same goals…
Both my brother and my sister have been a part of National Honor Society, and I have had the immense pleasure of seeing how it has positively affected their lives. I have seen their growth in character, through the beneficial and uplifting community of NHS. I have seen the service projects they have done, like weekly volunteering, food drives, and even service trips to other countries. Both my brother and sister have shown the utmost integrity and strength of character, and have had stellar academic performance that goes above and beyond my expectations. I want to join NHS because I hope to accomplish the same success in character, service, integrity, and academia through the positive change of National Honor society.…
Applying this to my educational career has gotten me far in my achievements and experiences. I’ve always enjoyed being involved in my school and with my peers. While in high school I have joined clubs and participated in various school groups and activities. I have been an active member of the National Honor Society (NHS) chapter for my entire highschool career. I was invited to become a member of NHS because of my high academics and positive characteristics.…
If I were to be selected into the NHS, I want to share my leadership skills. I want to make my community better for future students who wish to accomplish goals akin to mine. I would also like to help many local groups through more volunteer work to show that students do care about the community. This upcoming year, I would like to see the NHS expanding…
I am honored to be one of the many student selected to be apart of the National Honor Society. Over many year I have really been looking forward to this opportunity. The National Honor society does great things in society and i believe that if i'm apart of Nation Honor Society, I will be able to share my ideas and opinions to help others in our society. I want to be a leader, follower, and learner. I believe Nhs will give me opportunity to become all of these.…
Joining the National Honors Society is a great opportunity for anyone looking to excel in life. The N.H.S. was established to recognize students with good qualities in leadership, character, and service. In addition to this the N.H.S. helps students recognize their potential and helps them become more involved in their communities. I think I would be a good addition to the National Honor Society because I am hardworking, reliable, and determined. I would also like to join because education is very important to me , and the N.H.S. can help me later in life when planning for college.…
When an individual is chosen to become a member of the NHS, it ignites pride, and it is a reward. I would like to become a member of the NHS because I feel like I demonstrate the fundamental qualities of a member, it looks good on college applications and resumes, and it would be an incredible honor. The fundamental qualities of a member are shown throughout their daily life. I was a member of the National Junior Honor Society, which requires the same characteristics of their members.…
I am honored to be considered a possible future member of our high school’s National Honors Society. I do my best to commit myself to becoming someone extraordinary. Back in middle school, I was a satisfied member of the National Junior Honors Society, and I would like to feel the same about NHS. I remember knowing how to be a leader with great character, being proud of my citizenship, and serving the community. I still have these qualities today, and, as a member of NHS, I could definitely improve each of these qualities.…
I want to be a member of the National Honor Society because it is an excellent program with no “bad side”. NHS is a great way to give back to the community, it looks good on college applications and scholarships, it allows me to be a leader, and it is just what the name implies- an honor. Along with all the good it does, it is not too much of a commitment. I am a teenager in high school and have a busy life- adding another extracurricular activity to my plate can become overwhelming. However, NHS would allow me to help my community and future without forcing me to give up the life I have- I can get service hours doing what I enjoy and learn more about myself by trying new things.…
I am confident that I will be a great addition to the NHS because I strive to be a pillar of the community by exuding responsibility, leadership, intelligence, and dedication. I am devoted to being the best role model imaginable as I am an older sister, cousin, and babysitter. Although those responsibilities may be overlooked, they are most imperative to me. In today's society, I believe it is vital for high school students to exhibit an honorable life for the children they influence. I have always valued my education and earned a strong QPA in honors and AP classes.…
First of all, I would like to state that I am honored to be given the opportunity to become a member of National Honor Society. Receiving the letter letting me know that I am eligible to apply has been my goal ever since I entered high school. NHS does such an amazing job at helping the community, and that is all I have ever wanted to do - help others. Generally speaking, I am more of a behind-the-scenes person. However, taking charge, when necessary, is something I enjoy doing.…
A few years ago, I joined the club because my mom and dad had to work, but I have stayed because it has been fun. The club has been nice to me and they gave me new opportunities that I would not be able to do without them. The club has impacted my life by helping me get used to being around others, because before I usually stayed to my self and did things alone. The club also got me to meet new people that later became my friends. The club has helped me become a better person by helping me care for others around me, and the club helped me become more comfortable when I am in a group of other people.…
Being considered to be a member of the National Honor Society is an immense honor. It is a rewarding feeling to know that my hardwork in school from a young age has paid off. I am a hardworking, honest, and reliable student, and joining NHS would be a wonderful opportunity to grow as ayoung adult and honors student. Organization is a key factor in the development of my leadership skills, as well as in my overall success in life. I enjoy making to-do lists and charts, to remind myself of upcoming tasks.…
National Honor Society (NHS), a highly prestigious organization that runs nationwide. It is more than just an honors club. The National Honor Society recognizes students who show excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service, and character. I believe that I possess these qualities, and will be able to contribute to the betterment of the community. The National Honor Society would give me a huge opportunity to reach out and give more to the society.…
Personal statement- medicine Compassion lies at the heart of medicine. In the midst of the A&E ward, my time in hospital revealed the healthcare team’s professionalism as they worked together efficiently during ward rounds. It left me inspired. Following this, medicine has appealed to me becoming a route to better the health of others. The opportunity to provide care and to use medical knowledge for patient benefit compels me to become a doctor.…
