With the desires of becoming involved in the field of Business, I understand that it takes many years of hard work, determination, and virtue. Ever since I was a young child, I’ve dreamed of managing a successful company, and being one of the main bosses. I don’t want to be one of the main bosses just to order people around, but instead lead the company and my employers with the skills that I am able to bring to the company. I know that not many people are able to get this kind of position and opportunity, and that is why I have taken upon the challenge of being accepted to one of the most prestigious universities in Texas to learn from some of the best professors that teach at the business school.

Not only did I want to excel in physics, but having one of the highest grades felt accomplishing, and knowing I worked extra hard for it was rewarding.
The one thing that has really helped me and shown me a glimpse of the real world was getting my first job. I am currently working a part-time job at Jason’s Deli as a cashier, hostess, and salad bar prep. Working and going to school has probably been one of the hardest things I have ever had to do especially while being a straight A student. Getting up for school at around 6 in the morning and then going to school until 4 is tiring alone, and then going into work directly after school has to be worse than going to basketball practice knowing I am going to run all practice long. Then, I get out of work at around 11 at night and go home to finish my homework for that night which is sometimes up to two hours long. You can imagine how tired I am in the mornings, but I always tell myself to push through it because it could always be worse. Despite the fatigue I experience, my job has actually taught me a number of things that I think will benefit and help me in the future.
