In order to be a medical officer, it is mandatory that you have a Doctorate (MD) or medicinal equivalent, including residency in a specialty field. There are no internships currently available at the UN in the medical family so I found a job that sparked my interest. One job position that is available is to be a Medical Officer stationed in Bamako. Some responsibilities that this job requires fall under four categories: Clinical Duties, Medical Administrative Duties, Supervisory Administration, and general.
