I am a self-motivated, ambitious and an enterprising young professional with a 2:1 BA Honours degree in International Business from Regent’s University London. Having gained valuable experience and developed good business acumen through academia and working in small international firms and private educational establishments, I am well-accustomed to fast-paced and scrutinised working environments. My ability to communicate in Urdu, Punjabi and Mandarin along with excellent organisational, time management and interpersonal skills has led me to academic success. May 2015 – Current Deen Corporation Ltd. (London, UK/Sharjah, UAE) Business Development Associate
- Assisting the senior management in vertically integrating into the supply chain and building on the company’s strengths and reputation as one of the leading designers, manufacturers and suppliers of children’s special occasion wear in the UK.
- Assisting the marketing department in re-branding the company’s two childrenswear brands.
- Created and currently managing a new luxury children’s party wear brand: Little Miss Bella.
- Carrying out research and analysis of the childrenswear industry, competitors and keeping abreast of the current styles, fashions, childrenswear products and manufacturing methods.
- Assisting in the company’s B2B marketing campaigns by attending childrenswear and textile fairs and exhibitions around the world both as a visitor and an exhibitor.

- Researched and introduced new advanced CAD and CAM systems for pattern designing, material laying and cutting. The introduction of these new technologies resulted in a decrease in production time by 50% and costs by 20%.
- Attended training sessions, events and exhibitions to discover new technologies and learn about the trade of dressmaking, childrenswear fashion, design and manufacturing.
