I am particularly intrigued by the doctor-patient relationship, which impress me as a seamless blend of problem solving, hypothesis testing, trust building and appreciation of the patient’s individuality. Furthermore, my diverse life experiences have helped me to know that I possess many positive skills that will make me a very valuable asset to a medical team. Some of these characteristics are determination, resilience, mental strength and compassion. My involvement in activities both inside and outside of medicine has really added to me and I believe made me a well-rounded person.
As I completed my residency in Egypt, my love for internal medicine is the same today as it was on my very first day but my passion to explore more has grown. I will always bring to residency enthusiasm, diligence and most of all, my endless curiosity.
