Personal Statement: A Career In Education

Ever since I was little I always had such high expectations for myself ever since I could remember. From being such a determined little girl and only wanted the best for myself. I knew that I did not want to be a "nobody." I wanted to make a difference in not only my life but my family's life too. Around the age of 12, I told my family that I wanted to pursue a career in education.

I always want to pursue education because I believe the teachers are the building blocks you everyone's future. Whether you a pre-school teacher or a college professor. They all have the same the purpose is to educate their students I hope to become a really good educator.

I feel my major has the outcome for me. Ever since I was little I would take over my Sunday School Class in my Church. Now I am the head teacher of the ages 4-10. For two years now and I have loved it ever since then. I hope I can earn my degree so I pursue my dream of becoming a teacher.

I hope my degree will help of each child that different on a unique level. Even though each child is the unique individual they all need to feel like they are in a safe, loving, and stimulating environment. For where they can grow and mature not only emotionally but intellectually, physically and socially.

For an educator, it is their responsibility for providing infants, toddlers, and children with fun and positive learning experiences. I strive to become a great role model to respect and care for the children I come in contact with. It is my desire to become an educator to help students meet their fullest
