There are many things that I aspire for in my future. A profession in business has always been one of my main goals in life. In order to be successful in my career I am striving to be well-informed in my area of concentration so I can gain a strong foundation of knowledge. In the near future, I look forward to obtaining my Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate from the University of Texas at Arlington. Upon graduating, I plan on returning back home to Waco and working as a real estate agent. Some people have asked me why I am at a university getting a bachelor's degree if to be a real estate agent I just need my real estate license which can be obtained at a community college. The honest answer to that question is that whenever I came to UT Arlington I knew I wanted to major in business, but I did not know what concentration I wanted.

However, I started thinking about every aspect of it and if I would really be happy with a finance career. I knew that I did not want to be just sitting at a desk all day dealing with numbers, I wanted to also be able to interact with people and help them achieve something as well. After a lot of thinking and talking with my advisors, I decided to concentrate on real estate. I feel very confident with my decision because I believe it is something I will enjoy doing every day. I have an interview for an internship on December 18th at Keller Williams Realty in Waco. I really hope to do well on this interview and obtain the internship because it will help me gain experience for whenever I actually enter the workforce after graduation. I am looking forward to being about to help people find a home that they will love and be happy in, it will give me a sense of accomplishment. My education is my top priority right now, I refuse to settle for less than what I have the potential of
