Education has always been valuable to me since I was a kid. I understood that it 's important to commit myself and that I need to do everything within my power to achieve my goals. That made me become a dedicated and hard working person. I have faced many proessional and personal struggles but I 've never given up. I have devoted my time and energy to accomplish many dreams. Enrolling in college and earning a degree as a Physician Assistant means more than reaching a goal to me.

I apply reason, logic and emotions in my decisions. I know what it 's to struggle and to keep going on no matter what. I love to motivate others and to be a model for my family and friends. I 'm always willing to assist others and to help them. I accept challanges because they always help me grow as a person and I always learn something new. I 'm not afraid of failure and that has helped me to develop new skills and to obtain knowledge that is required to succeed. Last semester, I tried to enroll in CCD. However, I was not considered an In-State Student and tuition costs were far away from what I could afford. Most people would have given up or they would have made a big deal about it. I always try to seek for positive even when life can be a blur.I decided to take discussion and english courses instead of giving up or waiting for the next semester to start. I decided to take those courses because English is my second language and I want to be able to express myself more professionaly.
I believe that I deserve this scholarship because I 'm devoted to reach my personal and professional goals. This is a great opportunity for me to achieve more than what I expect. I have always intended to pay on my own instead of requesting my parents to help me. I 'm the oldest of three and I want to be a role model for my younger brothers. Hence, I need this scholarship to be able to involve more in school activities. I won 't give
