Pediatric Nurse My Career that I picked is Pediatric Nursing. I want to be a Pediatric Nurse because, I love working with kids, and I want to be able to help kids when they are sick. I love helping kids it means a lot to me. Children are really attracted to me. Every time I am in the store or at work they are always looking and smiling at me. This is why I think I would be good at this job. The significance of pediatric nurses applies to everyone they encounter. They provide a great amount of help to the doctors and physicians they encounter everyday. The nurse also needs to make sure the family perceives the medical terms in a way that they can understand. Pediatric nursing is a specific field of infants, children and adolescent. Practitioners of pediatric nursing are called pediatric nurses. Most nurses who end up working as pediatric nurses get their exposure to pediatric nursing during their undergraduate studies. Nurses interested in pediatric nursing complete field study hours in pediatrics upon degree completion. Like other nurses, pediatric nurses are able to give patients physical examinations, run diagnostic tests, draw blood samples and measure vital sign.
