While I have been, for the most part, happy, in my career, there has always been something missing. However, in my 12-year career as an insurance provider, I have met some incredible people from all walks of life. I have shared in the joys and celebrations of many of my clients throughout the years. And I have witnessed, firsthand, tragedy impact the lives of many others. Some of them have faced life-altering challenges, which I have seen impact their lives and the lives of their loved ones over the course of time. My empathetic nature allowed me to step into their shoes, aim to understand their feelings and perspectives, and use that understanding to guide my actions on how to comfort them.
