- To be a community assistant I believe that you should be responsible for being friendly to the residents and making there stay in the dorms as pleasant as possible. I think you should also be responsible for keeping the desk clean and approachable at all time. As a community assistant you should be knowledgeable on the things that go on in the dorms and as well as on campus so that you are able to assist with questions. Overall I think being a community assistant means assisting wherever necessary.
