Personal Statement: A Career As A Chief Technology Officer

Martin Luther King Jr. once said, “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”Every goal in life is determined by the actions we do right now and I want to make a difference and leave the most positive impact on the world. Ever since I was a kid I always dreamed of being an astronomer; however, I changed my mind figuring out how much math there was to get there. I changed my mind, not that it was theoretically impossible, but I just don’t like doing math. Now I pursue a career in informational technology management, and I believe it’s something I can happily pursue and make a difference with.
One area that has really helped me in my ability to reach my goal would be academics. If I did not have academics I wouldn’t know the first thing about informational technology management. You need to have responsibility for actions as a manager, I need to monitor and evaluate my employees, and etc. I also need to learn about way more stuff if I were to become a Chief Technology Officer. I have taken a club called Future Business Leaders of America and it’s really fun and interesting to see how people interact with each other in groups. I want to continue in Future Business Leaders of America and be the best at what I do. Other than Future Business Leaders of America I have not taken any other clubs, but I do want continue in my future clubs. My grades will also take a part if I want to become a business leader. I’ll need to have good grades, like straight A’s or at least A’s and B’s. The business community needs people who work hard and that’s why I’m taking AP classes next year.
