This Personal Assessment gives the results of four self-assessments: Keirsey Temperament Sorter, Task versus People Profile, Ethical Orientation, and Conflict Style. I completed the four self-assessments and have written a brief summary of the results.

Keirsey Temperament Sorter
Score: Artisan
The Keirsey Temperament Sorter revealed that I am an Artisan. This temperament describes my personality perfectly. I am extremely business-minded and enjoy the outdoors and every athletic even that comes with it. I love to work around the house, building things with various tools. My love of tools started when I was a child. My mom, who holds a master’s degree in sculpture, taught me to weld at the age of sixteen. When

Idealistic teachers see goodness in people and work to promote other people’s growth. I believe this is a strong quality for a teacher to possess. Seeing goodness in students, especially high school remediation students, can be difficult. Each child has goodness within them. As an idealistic teacher, I look for those qualities, talk to students to determine what it is, and use what I find to encourage them and foster their success. A student’s growth depends on teachers seeing goodness in each student and not the student’s rough exterior or lounge rumors. I controversially claim to be an avid supporter of “No Child Left Behind.” I whole heartedly believe every student can learn. Letting a child keep their head down and miss a lesson, or not fighting for a student to attend a class, does not promote their growth. The unique qualities each of us possess creates the best environment in a school building. The world would be boring if we were all the same. I have been told that I am a social butterfly; a person that is friends with all groups of people. Part of my social behavior is a result of seeing goodness in other people. I love random conversations with strangers in the grocery store or on a plane. I learn from everyone I meet. The questions in this assessment contained the words, “immoral” and “unethical.” I am extremely aware of immoral and unethical behaviors around me. Personally, I strive to be the best I …show more content…
I have high concern for relationships and for reaching goals. I begin the year building relationships with all teachers. The better relationship we have, the better we can work together. I also want all parties involved in goal planning and want everyone to work together to reach the goals. I feel as though I gravitate toward conflict, where others would turn the other way, to assist in resolving the conflict. I help the parties involved by talking through the issues, and reaching a compromise or solution. It is easier to resolve conflict when I know the teachers or people involved. Knowing the temperament of the parties involved helps me to know what statements or facts to use in reaching an agreement. My broad range of personal experiences, and teaching in a variety of educational levels, from elementary to high school, affords me a unique ability to solve conflicts. Since harmonizing and negotiating tied for moderate, it reminds me that I do care about what people think about me. I strive for everyone to like me and will approach anyone to ask if they are upset with me or ask if there is something we can do to resolve the issue. Personally, I have been married and divorced a few times. I have excellent relationships with my ex-husbands and with their extended families, partially because I worked to apologize for the situation and negotiated

The concept of acquiring knowledge of a subject is usually reflected on a test; however, it goes beyond. The most important concern for Lewis was to see the school progress and his students improve; however, his decision didn’t work well.
