Scenario one:

I write an unflattering story about neo-nazism and white supremacists in our age. People who support fascism have always taken an aggressive approach to deal with their enemies. Speaking out against them has the potential to put me or some I love in a situation that could result in physical violence, to silence me. I would take precautions to protect myself and family from these people. First, if I received any threats I would let my editors know. I would also try to keep my personal and professional life separate, and keep my personal information confidential. So that even if somebody wanted to hurt me, they would have to attack me in public. Instead of coming to my home in the dark of night putting my family in jeopardy

Right now I’m going to talk about the first simulation I remember doing. I forget the name of the simulation, but what I don’t forget is what the simulation was about. First off, the simulation took place when I was in 4th grade (closer to the beginning of the year). We got to simulate leaving England and going to the United States of America. The class was separated into groups of four based on our tables.…

This simulation exercise with an un familiar actor, was something that I have never experienced in my educational career this far. All the discussion in class and the time leading up to the actual simulation was very nerve wracking. It was the anticipation surrounding it that was scarier than the actual simulation. Going into the room, I initially felt a little nervous, but after we started talking, the nerves disappeared. At one point during the middle of the interaction there was a time in which I felt that I did not know what to say next and I became nervous again.…

I have done similar work in the past. My eighth grade year was when I learned about “Creating a System or Two”. I was ecstatic when hearing about it, but when I saw examples of it, I knew deep down inside that I would not master this objective. I was seemingly right. For my standards, they were fairly low.…

It couldn’t have been past 10 a.m. when the alarm went off. We all knew what it meant- we were firefighters, it’s what we do. The fire chief told us that an apartment complex in downtown Boston had gone ablaze, and that it was really bad. We quickly got into our uniforms and hopped on as the fire truck left the station. We were a few miles away before I saw the smoke, a dark giant against the bright blue sky.…

I entered the door of my local high school, and I felt the uneasiness fly away. I moved through the hall where on the side I saw the countless golden and silver trophies. As I continued down the hall I saw a desk that has four pieces of paper on the bottom with letters that were organized through last name. A's-G's were on the far left while S's-Z's were on the right.
