Personal Review: Lessons Learned

During the first quarter of freshman seminar I've learned a lot about high school, college, life and even myself. The first thing I learned was it's important to be organized in school, it makes your experience so much easier by know where every assignment, project and note is at. I learned about requirements to graduate and grade point averages in the beginning too. I've mostly learned about life & school in freshman seminar. Ms.Ramsey talked a lot about life while we were going over maslow's hierarchy of needs. She taught us about which needs come first and how important which one is. That lesson applied to me because I prefer to work alone and actually do better when I'm on my own but sometimes in school and in our work place I'll have no choice but to work with co-workers and other students. In freshman seminar I've also learned that every penny counts from the budget project so now I'm like Ms.Ramsey picking up every penny, nickel, and dime I see on the street or on the ground just laying around. I've learned a little about college mostly was about what they do and don't allow. Like how you can't drive your car on campus during your freshman year and how you don't necessarily have to stay on campus in a dorm except for freshman year. Another life lesson was that living outside of a city costs less than it does to live in the city and when you're getting internet it costs less to bundle it with a house phone. We're now learning lessons on getting jobs. We just learned how to dress for a job interview for example if you're dressing for a job at fast food place and you were a male you would wear a dress shirt and
