Since the beginning of my life, my grandfather had always told me that your education is the one thing no one can take away from you. Those words have stuck clearly with me ever since I had first heard them. I believe that writing is an extremely important tool to use. Writing is seen everywhere you go, especially used as a form of communication with others. No matter what you do throughout your lifetime, writing will always be an important aspect. I am very interested in progressing my writing through this course and developing a better flow with words, as well as a better vocabulary. Office hours are beneficial because they allow you communicate anything that you are having problems with or don't quite understand. There is only so much you can understand from an email. Going to office hours allows the professor to help you to their best ability. I plan on visiting office hours whenever I run into trouble or need extra clarification/assistance.
Being in college is easily a step up from high school. There are certain responsibilities you take on as a student. You should always be on time and especially pay attention. Your grade should be one of your top priorities. You should always respect your professor and take in their rules and regulations. They’re here to help you succeed. The professor has a responsibility to help you to the best of their ability, and ensure you always have a complete understanding of any assignment.
I am keen to improve my writing and see how it changes from the beginning of the semester to the end. I hope to learn new ways to improve my technique and how to successfully execute the different styles of writing. I will ask questions when something is unclear or explain to a fellow student when something is unclear to them. I will also ask questions to engage in conversation when needed.
