In November 2015 I participated in UQ’s first Rapid Improvement Event (RIE) which developed over 70 recommendations for the unwieldy academic progression process and has led to considerable efficiencies and an improved student.
Strategic initiatives I have introduced in my current role have minimised provisional enrolments for students with outstanding appeals or progression matters, and reduced the average time to respond to student appeals and grievances from 41 working days to 9.
