From the moment I stepped foot on campus I’ve continuously wondered how I can use this as an education investment that will pay off down the line. After reading the Bain chapter I felt that my problem had been confirmed. This is my ultimate goal and issue that I have to resolve. If I can solve this problem, the work I put in and the hours spent were all worth it and I will have gained the most satisfying gratification of them all, a job offer (or 5).

By seeing people’s worth, you are better able to utilize them for projects and assignments. In group work for example, one of my roles I take on is discovering people’s strengths and weakness and applying them to the project. This works very similarly with understanding. I am able to view people’s lives in common and overlapping ways. By discovering what makes someone tick, you are much abler to connect with that person on a deeper basis. One concept that I do have an issue with is knowledge of societal inequities. This idea, which I find very counterproductive to not grouping people together has always baffled me. I understand that idea that being underrepresented excluded certain communities from growing and succeeding.
