Personal Reflective Essay: Dumbest Decisions

This last summer I was challenged with the reality of friendship. Friends are relatable, trustworthy, reliable people who are close to you. I learned the hard way that who I thought were my friends were really my worst enemies.
I’d made new friends in the eighth grade. My old friends, I thought were too immature. I got invited to a bonfire with a couple of friends but my parents didn’t know them and there were going to be boys there. I knew if I’d asked they would’ve said no, but if I didn’t go then I wouldn’t get the chance to hangout with my new friends and bond with them. That was the moment I made one of the dumbest decisions ever.
