For example, in September, I did research and analysis about Amazon’s philosophy, perspective, and efforts related to diversity, which helped Mike Ronan fully prepare for his presentation at a tech-related conference. Moreover, I continued doing more research and analysis for the Qualcomm/NXP integration pursuit on various topics and aspects, which allowed the team to demonstrate our experience and knowledge to the client with high-quality work products. o After summarizing and analyzing emails and documents sent by several legal consultants from other countries about labor union issues related to the Qualcomm/NXP integration, I was able to fully understand the process of European integration and works council interaction, and then prepared a future roadmap deck of action items and timeframe for the team to present to the client. o When I was helping translate the ULI Asia Pacific Research Survey, I suggested a better order for the survey questions that would help participants to understand easily and quickly. Moreover, I helped test the survey and corrected format and grammar. All of those ideas and suggestions came from my past research experiences.

In my junior year, I took the time to volunteer with the Renaissance Community Center, an organization that provides various services to Homeless individuals in Tallahassee. Volunteering here taught me about people and the effects of interpersonal communication, how the availability of services can aid people during personal crisis, and the limitations of resources and access on a vulnerable population such as the homeless. This experience is valuable to me as it increased my interest in the population and my awareness of how it intersects with values and the purpose of social work.…
