The Importance Of Family Stress

Family stressors nowadays are considered to be one of the most common problems a single individual on a traditional family can encounter on a daily basis. Stress can be demonstrated in situations that involve big changes such as moving to another state with a single-parent while the other stays behind. Depending on the circumstance of the situation some families cannot handle the long distance relationship between one parent, while other families manage to keep a stable relationship between them. As a result, the family as a whole become stronger because even though one parent is not currently living in the same state the other parent that is commits themselves to guide each child along the way for a brighter future. (Kunz, 2013). In my perspective, having a parent that is not living in the same state could be difficult. Through this time, many things could lessen like the communication between a parent and their children. I would have to say a family strength that assisted my brother, mom, and I is being committed and focused toward the goal we had in mind, which was getting a better education. I consider my mom played a fundamental role when it came to teach us the value of having a good education. She knew that separating us from our dad was going to be hard, but she still managed to help my brother and I in everything possible. To the point that if she would have not stayed committed on the decision of moving to another state for a better education I would not be the first generation of my family that is attending college, and my brother would not be receiving the greatest education
