Of the thousands of memories, one can acquire through life itself, I believe it impossible to name one in this single semester that overpowers anything I’ve experienced. However, because it is mandatory that I choose, I am going to speak about my experience with the book “Animal Farm”. This book is an allegory on its own and embodies the true essence of the Russian Revolution of 1917. When asking him what he thought, he gave me his copy of the book to read and said he read it in the fifth grade and changed his life because after reading it he knew he wanted to be a history teacher. With this in mind, I finished this book after a week and loved the figurative devices used to explain the

Middle school is a walk in the park compared to High-school but here are a few things that people don’t tell you. For one, Read a lot! In fact read all the books that you want and more because that expands your vocabulary and that’s incredibly important in High-School.
However, the SRC points in Middle school don’t matter as much as they do in High-school so don’t worry too much or stress yourself out because of it. As a matter of fact, you may even need those points more in high-school. Secondly, ENJOY MIDDLE SCHOOL!
I cannot stress this enough! People in Middle school always wanna grow up, there’s beauty in that but you’re only 13 or 12 one time and time spent wishing to change yourself is time

Animal Farm is the eye-opening account of communism in the Soviet Union told through animals who take over a farm. Like Stalin and his communist associates took over the Soviet Union, making communism seem beneficial to the people through propaganda, Napoleon and his pigs take over Manor Farm, making the heavy work load and little reward seem beneficial to the other animals. If the animals had only applied this verse to their lives! The animals, in all their gullibility, succumbed to the oppressive rule of the pigs and heavy work load, simply because they automatically accepted whatever they were told and didn’t think through things. If only the people of the Soviet Union had been as shrewd as snakes, communism may have fallen faster.…

In Animal Farm, one of George Orwell’s main goals was to portray the Russian Revolution of 1917 in his writing through character’s, events, and concepts. His goal was clearly shown in his text because many important people of the Russian Revolution were seen through animals, events that took place in the Russian Revolution were reflected in his writing, and many concepts of the time were shown in a different form. He accomplished his goal by using simpler characters and an easier concept to grasp. Orwell wrote Animal Farm in the style he did to appeal to a wider variety of people but still reflect an important time in history. His objective for making this book an allegory to the Russian Revolution was to show the readers the negatives of…

Based off of my involvement in high school, the advice I would give to a middle schooler would be geared towards the kids who struggle with school. Simply, because I was that student who struggled with school all his life. The most unbiased advice I can give such middle schooler is to surround yourself with people who want to be successful in life and in school. Such people will push you to become a better character without you even knowing it and who you surround yourself with molds you.
