290 hours coursework (equivalent to US 12.5 semester credits) included epidemiology, biostatistics, environmental health, occupational health, behavioral science, health policy and management, maternal and child health, infectious diseases and many more. I learned about the different type of epidemiological studies not only in the classroom but also applied it in the community level study. As a part of my undergraduate coursework, I conducted a group research study on estimation of maternal mortality ratio (MMR) in a rural village of Bangladesh.
