Personal Quality Project aided me in finding and administering solutions to my personal problems furthermore learn from my mistakes and promote change. In this project my mission was to "graduate with a G.P.A of above 3.0 and to cut down junks on my health". Vision was " to become a very successful entrepreneur get to size 12,live a healthy life style" .One of the tools used in this project was a Personal quality checklist .
The personal quality checklist is a tool that comprised of quality items for personal tracking and improvement. My checklist was divided in two whereby 5 quality items were based on academics such as review class notes each day, limit time on social media to max 1 hour etc. The other 5 quality items were based on my health life eg, work out 1 hour for each day, eat a balance meal each day etc. The checklist was to be drawn each week and

The first four weeks of the personal project was not done very well. Reason being I did not define well quality items in my checklist for example "work in the library''. Such an item is difficult to measure as it is not clear. I learned that it is important to become more specific by including time this is to say "work in the library for maximum 1hr".
Furthermore my defects were not reducing on which total quality control aims at continues improvement. In this project we were to share our personal checklist items and goals with my supervisor each week. As I sat down with my Supervisor in week 2 and 3 my total number of defects had not changed (26 defects) .One of the causes of such stagnation and lack of continuous improvement is poor commitment and focus .Commitment and Focus being part of the 5c's in total quality management are essential aspects in reducing
